Bow Depot Junction
This was shot from the original Pudding Mill Lane station [on the Docklands Light], when I worked for Crossrail. It was a really cold Monday in December 2010, and I had just come back from a site visit with the construction team doing early Crossrail diversion works on the City Mill and Waterworks Rivers. One of the team had been shooting that weekend and I was surprised to find a brace of very frozen pheasant on the Heras fence outside the site cabin which had been brought as a Christmas surprise for his boss who was Irish.
