Easthaven

Easthaven station, seen from an approaching DMU in the mid 1960s. The view is from the north east. The station closed in 1967 and had opened with the Dundee and Arbroath Railway in 1838. Although nothing remains of the station, Station House and Station Row (the gable end of which can be seen to the right of the station) still exist today. Easthaven was usually the spelling for the station after 1904, with Ordnance Survey using East Haven right up to closure. The signal box, seen on the left beyond the footbridge closed in 1965.
