View from Tyne & Wear Metro unit to South Shields, now on the south side of the Tyne, just emerged from tunnel and arriving at Gateshead Stadium station, at 15.15 on Monday, 16th December 2024 On the left is the National Rail line to Sunderland and Hartlepool and which is shared with T & W trains between Pelaw and Sunderland.
