March West Junction
31187, with painted up green liveried 37216, approach March West Junction en route from Peterborough to Ipswich in May 1993. I recall 31187 as a Finsbury Park based locomotive back in 1974 but, like many, they moved around based at different depots. At this time 31187 was a March loco but also had a spell at Immingham as well. At one time there was a signalbox here and one could stand on the footbridge and listen to the bell codes.
