Middleton
Looking from Towneley Street, Middleton, into the old L&YR goods yard and towards the station throat, in December 2024. The former Crown Wallpaper distribution depot sits in line with the layout of the old station, and it was easy to imagine railway trucks in this loading bay, but the tracks were long gone when this building was constructed on the station site.
