Goostrey
The radio telescope at Jodrell Bank, just to the north of Goostrey station, has been a lineside landmark for many years now. This picture from a northbound EMU on a stopping service on 6th January 2025 doesn't really do it justice as the huge structure towers above the line and can be seen more closely through the trees as the train passes the site.
