Wansford

Stanier Black 5 4-6-0 No. (4)5231, masquerading as 'Douglas' at Wansford during the Nene Valley's Thomas the Tank Engine day in August 1989. This engine was built by Armstrong Whitworth in 1936 and came to the Nene Valley via the Great Central Railway. It has been regularly used on the main line and is currently at Crewe with Locomotive Services Ltd.
