Alloa

A dull day at Alloa, thought to be in April 1968, with a Class 24 awaiting departure on an Edinburgh - Stirling working. One gas light is attempting to brighten up a scene which had become sadly typical by that time of what was in many places a rundown railway system.
Passenger services ended on 7th October 1968.
