Brinnington

This 120m span bridge over the M60 Orbital lies between Brinnington and Bredbury on the Ashburys to Romiley route. 195127 crosses the motorway with a Piccadilly to Sheffield stopping service, via the Hope Valley, on 15th January 2025. The 2,700 tons structure was built in 1988, being assembled alongside the railway and then slid onto new abutments before the motorway route was excavated underneath.
