Looking towards Woodley at Brinnington Tunnel in January 2025. Just behind the camera is the site of Brinnington Junction where a chord to Reddish Junction diverged until 1966 and is now a greenway through Reddish Vale. The picture was taken from the site of another shorter tunnel that has been opened out but this is another surfaced cycle route that can be followed through the tunnel and beyond.
