Golant
This location is St Winnow, looking across the Fowey River between Lostwithiel and Golant, in November 2012. 66005 is seen with 6G06, loaded clay from Goonbarrow Junction to Carne Point Fowey. This shot is better with the tide in and the sun out in the morning before 1100 as by the time this working showed up the sun was a long way round. In 2025 there are few clay trains running and the loaded train will not pass here until well after lunchtime.
