Appleby
A distinct whistling sound could be heard down in the Eden Valley as LSL's D8096 and D8107 'Jocelyn Feilding 1940 - 2020' cross the B6542 south of Appleby on Saturday 8th March 2025 working the Carlisle to Preston leg of the Scottish Railway Preservation Society's 'The Seven Counties Rambler' which had started in Linlithgow with 20118 and 20132 at the helm. SRPS owned 37403 'Isle of Mull' was on the rear.
