Rochdale East Junction
A murky day in Rochdale as Metrolink 3010 drops down the 'ski jump' after coming up from Manchester via Oldham on 12th February 2025. Prior to 2009 there was a flat junction here for the Oldham Loop, and there is still a little used turnback siding on the old formation, but the trams pass over the Network Rail tracks and then run parallel down towards the tram stop at the station entrance.
