Freightliner 66569 'Gerald 'The Rule Book' Riley' passing Appleby on Saturday 15th March 2025 working the 6E97 1049 New Biggin British Gyspum to Stourton Neck Sig S912 before entering Hunslet Yard for weekend stabling. This service, which works out of Tees Dock, normally operates via the Tyne Valley Line to Carlisle Yard, where the loco runs round before heading back down the S&C to the gypsum works, but due to engineering works on Teeside, the train is stabling in Leeds.
