Shaw and Crompton [Tram]

Tram 3015 is sitting alongside the impressive Briar Mill, in the bay platform at Shaw & Crompton Metrolink stop, prior to returning towards Manchester on 12th February 2025. The old railway station was beyond the level crossing, and included a five storey goods warehouse serving a cluster of huge cotton mills next to the railway. Briar Mill is the only survivor, and has been repurposed and extended to form a huge distribution depot. The other mills were demolished to make way for housing and modern business units.
