Romiley

The old Midland Railway cabin at Romiley, which once controlled a three way junction, has a definite lean to it these days and is supported at the rear by a scaffolding framework. This was the view from the end of the platform on 15th January 2025 as 195127 came off the Reddish North line with a Piccadilly to Sheffield stopping service via the Hope Valley. The route is set for a Sheffield to Piccadilly service, but the following train from Rose Hill will go straight on using the Hyde Loop.
