Ordsall Chord
A hurried mobile phone shot, from a Barrow to Manchester Airport train running a few minutes early and halted at Castlefield Junction, of 185144 and 108 on a Redcar Central to Manchester Airport service rounding the 2017 Ordsall Chord on 15th January 2025. The severed tracks in the foreground are on the former access to Manchester Liverpool Road, controversially blocked by this new stretch of line.
