Farington Junction
Although well into their 30s now, the Hunslet built Class 323s are relative newcomers to services north of Manchester. They have a couple of regular diagrams on Blackpool services in 2025 and 323238 and 323225 passed Farington Junction on 9th April 2025 working from the resort to Manchester Airport. A stile, half way along the lineside public footpath, is very handy for getting above the palisade boundary fence.
