Auchmacoy

Auchmacoy station was only open from 1897 to 1932, although there was a small goods yard that may have seen some traffic until the branch finally closed completely at the end of 1948. There is reportedly no trace of the station itself but Station House stands by the old goods yard entrance and is still occupied, seen here on 13th April 2025. The passenger platforms were sited where the trees are growing behind the house. Similar 'Station House' buildings can also be seen at Cruden Bay and Longhaven on the way to Boddam.
