Carnforth
West Coast's 37676 spent much of the 21st May 2025 in the Down Loop at Carnforth with a rake of ex-GWR MkIII HST coaches. There was also a MkI WCRC coach behind the 37, presumably acting as a barrier vehicle. The nature of the movement isn't known - but perhaps heading for the West Coast refurbishment facilities at Carnforth and waiting for room to enter the complex, which these days seems to be rather full of stock.
