Wolverhampton
Apparently it was part of the design brief for the tram extension to Wolverhampton station, that no-one should be able to rest a coffee cup on these steel posts. It works. For reference, the tram is travelling right to left; the chap on the left in the red jacket is standing where I was when I took my previous image 81848 during construction. This extension was one of several reasons why I did a Tramathon, covering the entire current network in well under a day - it's only one line.
