Wembley Hill
A view looking at the front of the station building at Wembley Hill in 1969. This opened in 1906 as Wembley Hill, changed to Wembley Complex in 1978 and finally to Wembley Stadium in 1987. The building in the photograph was demolished in 2005. In the background can be seen the original Wembley Stadium which opened in 1923 and was in use until 2000 when it closed for rebuilding. The current stadium opened in 2007.
