Melton Constable
Once the HQ of the Midland & Great Northern Railway, the station at Melton Constable still looked imposing despite the level of demolition which had already taken place when this shot was taken on a warm summer day in 1971.
Passenger services had ended on 06/04/1964 although goods traffic continued until December of that year.
