Maud
These two rail wagons have been preserved at Maud Junction for some years now. The Peterhead Prison van has been nicely restored but the (incredibly) short wheelbase truck is still in need of some TLC. The latter is marked as RNAD. Was that connected with the Royal Naval Air Station at Longside on the Peterhead branch near Newseat station, or is that just a coincidence? See image 60500 of the smaller van from rail level.
