Glenfinnan
During her celebrated run on the Mallaig extension in May 1984, preserved NBR 0-6-0 ‘Maude’ ran into difficulty on the way back to Fort William. The steep climb from Loch Eilt required at least three attempts before being completed. The photograph shows ‘Maude’ approaching the summit when finally making it to the top.
