Bere Ferrers: Bere Ferrers was originally an intermediate station on the LSWR main line between Plymouth and Okehampton but is now served by the Gunnislake branch services on the surviving southern stump of the line. The building is no longer in use for passengers but is well preserved in private occupation and the replica BR Southern Region green totem sign gives the station added credence. It is seen here from a Gunnislake bound train on 11th March 2017.

Brodick Pier: CalMac Ferry MV 'Caledonian Isles' is seen loading at Brodick Ferry Terminal for the slightly delayed 16.40 return crossing from Arran to Ardrossan, after a very rock and roll trip from the mainland in severe weather on 15 June 2013. See image [[67659]] for a view of the ferry as it entered Ardrossan to load after the previous crossing from Arran
Carlisle Kingmoor MPD: Leeds Holbeck Jubilee 45562 'Alberta' makes a fine sight in the afternoon sunshine of 19th August 1967 at Carlisle Kingmoor, having worked north that morning over the Settle & Carlisle with a summer Saturday Birmingham – Glasgow service. Over fifty years later 'Alberta' reappeared on the S&C when West Coast Railways 45699 was repainted and numbered to represent the old favourite from the last days of S&C steam.
Lancaster: 68034 propels a TPE MkV push-pull set out of Lancaster, on a training run from Carlisle to Crewe on 9th March 2021. 68034 is used by Trans-Pennine on an 'as required' basis and so remains in DRS livery and has not yet been named. Covid restrictions mean that I have been unable to try these new trains out, or indeed the TPE 802 bi-modes and 397 EMUs. Hopefully not for too much longer.
Gorebridge: A bright and sunny Sunday morning at Gorebridge in July 2020 as a train from Tweedbank emerges from below Station Road bridge and heads north towards its nexr scheduled stop at Newtongrange.
Edinburgh Waverley: 47833 'Captain Peter Manisty RN' (I'm sure he's never heard of me either) seen at Waverley's old Platform 20 in April 1994. It was to be renumbered 47788 the following year then scrapped in 2000.
Bilston Glen Colliery: 37080 waits at the closed Bilston Glen Colliery, as her train is filled with the last of the stockpiled coal, on 28 March 1991.
Calstock Viaduct: The impressive view of the Tamar with Calstock on the left, looking north from 150124 on a service from Gunnislake to Plymouth crossing from Cornwall into Devon, on 11th March 2017. The viaduct was constructed between 1904 and 1907, is 800 ft. long and 120 ft. high and consists of 12 arches with a 60 ft. span. It is the largest viaduct in Britain constructed entirely of concrete blocks.
Ladybank: 27036 southbound through Ladybank in Fife, heading for Edinburgh on 13 November 1981.
