Houston and Crosslee: BR Standard 2-6-4T 80030 about to leave Houston and Crosslee on 22 April 1954 with a train for Princes Pier. The station became plain Houston in 1973, a name it retained until closure in January 1983.

Beattock Summit: A view from the B7076, which was the old A74 trunk road before the M74, seen beyond the train, was built, of EWS liveried 66090 held in the up loop at Beattock Summit in June 2011, on a lengthy rake of low side 4-wheel engineers wagons returning to Carlisle Yard. The rake appeared to be of all the same type of wagon, other than the sixth wagon behind the loco.

Kinghorn: It is a September evening in 1998 and after a grinding journey from Kirkcaldy, during which there was an ominous fug in the carriages, 117301 was terminated at Kinghorn and we few passengers were left to our own devices.

Linlithgow: Platform for Edinburgh-bound trains at Linlithgow, on the bitterly cold afternoon of 16th March 2019. The station opened in 1842 and the heated waiting room, ideal on a day such as this, comes complete with armchairs, a settee and some books to while away the time. Note the recently installed OLE for the line's electrification.

Cricklade: Some stockpiled material and a lot of cleared vegetation as the Swindon & Cricklade Railway volunteers progress the half mile northern extension towards Cricklade and a temporary station at Farrfield Lane. This view taken in March 2021.

Bedworth: Well, they did say that service businesses were going down the tubes during the pandemic. Another LUL trade mark rip-off, this time at Bedworth and so somewhat East of the last one I saw (see image [[65925]])

Fleetwood Ferry [Tram]: Flexity 011 pauses at Fleetwood Ferry, in front of the North Euston hotel, prior to returning to Starr Gate on 2nd April 2021, almost nine years to the day that the refurbished tramway was reopened and these articulated trams introduced. See image [[38262]].

Montrose: A Glasgow-bound service calls at Montrose in June 1999. The ScotRail 'branding' seems to be restricted to a single small flash under the offside window.
