Fort William [1st]: Fort William signal box in 1969. The original station is just out of view and closed in 1975, as did the signal box, when the line was cut back some 700 yards to the north to allow for major road developments in the area.

Crewe: Avanti Evero 807001 pauses in Platform 5 at Crewe, with 1A34 from Lime Street to Euston on 4th June 2025. All the new 805 and 807 units have now been delivered to Avanti.

Mangotsfield [2nd]: The Western end of Mangotsfield station, which now forms part of the Bristol and Bath Railway Path. Following closure in 1969, nature has been allowed to take hold, with much of the station hidden away under the vegetation.

Lochearnhead [2nd]: View of the closed Lochearnhead station from the south end. The main building and platform are in an excellent state of preservation. In the background the line to St Fillans curves off to the right over the Lochearnhead Viaduct. Above and to the left is the former Callander and Oban Railway climbing Glen Ogle.

Burrs Country Park: East Lancashire Railway Summer Diesel Gala. On the Friday there was a 'mini charter' with visiting locomotive 31108 and the breakdown train. There were three run pasts and it was a bit of a challenge to exclude the caravans and mobile homes on the other side.
