Description
This was a private two platform terminal station at Ashington Colliery for the Ashington Collieries Railway. It was approached from the north and located within a triangle of lines to the east of Ashington Colliery. A pedestrian bridge provided access over the company's Pegswood - Ashington Colliery - Ashington line. The public Ashington station was a little to the south east.
