This is a single track 154 yard long tunnel. It is north of Beasdale No 118 Tunnel and east of Beasdale station.
Princes Charles Edward Stuart left Scotland from the shore of Loch nan Uamh in 1746 after the unsuccessful Jacobite uprising. The The Prince's Cairn was built in 1956 by the 1745 Association. The cairn is just to the south of the Beasdale No 118 Tunnel, the shoreline where the cairn is can be seen when approaching that tunnel from the east (often through trees!). See also Glenfinnan Monument.
