This was a two platform station on the line north of Aberystwyth in the south of the village of Bow Street.
The station had a passing loop on a largely single track line. The main station building was on the southbound platform (closest to the road access) and there was a goods yard on the east side of the station, approached by reversing from the north.
The line remains open but the station closed in 1965.
(2020) A new station is under construction.
(2021) The new station is now open.
