This was the house of John Orr Ewing and later Henry Brock of the United Turkey Red Company.
It was bequeathed by Brock to become a cottage hospital which became the Vale of Leven Hospital.
The house was demolished in 1978 and is now a car park.
Alexandria and Bonhill station is just under a mile, by road, to the south east.
