08/03/1943Didcot, Newbury and Southampton Railway
Re-opened after doubling between Didcot and Newbury and lengthening of the loops on the Newbury to Winchester section. A new junction was put in at Worthy for direct access from the London and South Western Railway to the Newbury line, leaving Winchester Chesil on a loop.
20/11/1955Great Western Railway
11 are killed when an excursion train enters a goods loop too quickly at Didcot.
