This is a single track five span girder viaduct of 318 ft on a curve, a viaduct with five 60 ft spans. The viaduct is on the 'Horseshoe Curve', south of Bridge of Orchy and north of County March Summit [West Highland].
The viaduct crosses Allt Coralan.
The 'Horseshoe Curve' is well known for the huge meander the railway takes to keep to the same contour, a long curve where, on the way north, the route ahead can be seen on the left and the train will be travelling in exactly the reverse direction, so tight is the curve.
