Glenkinchie is an unusual distillery, it's in the lowlands south east of Edinburgh, not on Speyside or in the Highlands.
The distillery is west of the former Saltoun station which benefited with traffic from the distillery. (The nearer Lempock Wells Siding was a private siding used for farm traffic.) The cost of a direct siding to the distillery was prohibitively expensive.
Within the distillery there was an overhead rail system.
