This sand siding was on the south side of the line immediately east of Kelvin Valley East Junction. Access was from the west.
To the south was Inchbelly Farm (now Inchbelle Farm).
The quarry closed in recent years, many years after the railway closed, and ground restored. For this portion of the Kelvin Valley Railway the trackbed can no longer be traced.
