A series of sidings were on the north side of the Ballochney Railway, east of Kipps junction and west of Kipps Junction Incline Foot.
Initially these sidings were approached from the west, latterly they were approached by reversal from the east.
The sidings were probably for marshalling trains (empties?) to be taken up the Ballochney Incline or Thrashbush Incline.
A corresponding yard, Kipps Yard, was on the south side of the line.
To the north of the Leaend sidings were the sidings of the Northburn Steel Works.
The site is now landscaped, a dirt path more or less following the course of the Ballochney Railway's main line.
