A halt related to Muirton Park football ground, St Johnstone FC, which was to the east.
To the south was Balhousie Junction and to the north Perth New Yard (although this opened in 1962) and Almond Valley Junction.
Nothing remains of the halt but the line remains open, a double track railway. The football club have relocated and Muirton Park no longer exists.
