This distillery predated the opening of the West Highland Railway. It was located on the north side of the line on the west bank of the River Nevis near the Fort William town centre. The distillery closed around 1908 but remained in use as warehousing for Ben Nevis Distillery. There was a series of buildings.
With the opening of the railway a level crossing gave access to the site, just west of the Nevis Viaduct. The site was rail served, a long siding from Fort William Goods. There were exchange sidings laid at the west side of the warehouses.
The warehouses closed in 1980 and demolished in the 1990s.
The site is now housing.
