Oakfield Swing Bridge

Description

This swing bridge is on the Crinan Canal north of Ardrishaig Basin. It is known as either Oakfield or Miller's Bridge. The quayside on the south side of the bridge, east side of the canal, was the coal quay for Lochgilphead where puffers were unloaded and the coal taken on by road.
