Description
This paper mill was built to the south of Penicuik, just north of the site of the former Pomathorn station (the line closed in 1962). The works was associated with the Valleyfield Mill in Penicuik, at a much lower level down by the River North Esk.
The works only lasted until 1975 when it closed along with the much older Valleyfield Mill.
The large building has seen a variety of uses since, including warehousing. It still stands (2018).
