This is a single track lattice girder viaduct just north of Rannoch station.
The viaduct has an overall length of 684 ft, consisting of 9 girder sections of 70.5 ft. It is the longest viaduct on Craigendoran Junction to Fort William line. The viaduct is on a gentle curve.
The viaduct crosses a deep bog to the north of the station, a viaduct being preferred to attempting to fill the bog for an embankment. The stone for the piers was extracted from the Cruach Cutting, now covered as a protection against drifting snow (Cruach Rock Shed.
