Description

This island platform station never opened.

Access was by footbridge from the west end. There was a station building on the platform which was rented out as a house for much of its existence. Only one line was in use, what would have been the westbound line was not connected and was lifted. There were no goods facilities. The station was south of the west end of Stanely Reservoir.

The station site remains, very overgrown and innaccessable.
