This siding was north of Larbert station. It was on the east side of the line and made a trailing connection. It served a loading bank with cattle pens. The Stenhousemuir Tryst, a major cattle market, was to the east. This had relocated from Falkirk around the time the Forth and Clyde Canal opened.
Access was controlled by Stenhousemuir Signal Box, just to the south.
