This was a large country house, completed in 1821 to the designs of John Smith [Architect] for Thomas Alexander Fraser, 12th Lord Lovat. The building has been ruinous since 1954.
Bought by George Baird, of the Gartsherrie Iron Works, from Lord Lovat in 1855.
