The Greenhill to Carmuirs section of line, used by passenger trains from Glasgow and the South running north towards Stirling or east to Falkirk Grahamston, has been blocked by a landslip where the line passes in a tunnel under the Forth and Clyde Canal. Passenger trains are subject to a diversion which takes 30mins. Repair work is likely to take 2 weeks to complete. A section of the canal has been drained to facilitate repairs.
