Middlesbrough: Victorian signal boxes demolished in upgrade [BBC News]

Two Victorian signal boxes are being demolished as part of a railway upgrade in Middlesbrough. Network Rail says the £45m project will 'deliver a modern, more reliable railway'. [See also Network Rail news item of the 10th below. -RS]
