Lanchester Valley Railway Extension (North Eastern Railway)

Introduction

This line is closed. It was built as an extension of the Lanchester Valley Railway (North Eastern Railway) by the North Eastern Railway north from Consett to Blaydon and Scotswood. Today it is a footpath.
