26/08/1846	North London Railway Act passed for the East and West India Docks and Birmingham Junction Railway.
26/09/1850	North London Railway Bow Junction (Blackwall Railway) to Islington opened.
07/12/1850	North London Railway Extended to Camden Town (now Camden Road).
09/06/1851	North London Railway Extended to Hampstead Road (now the closed Primrose Hill).
01/01/1853	North London Railway Renamed as the North London Railway.
11/11/1865	North London Railway Broad Street station opened.
/10/1916	North London Railway Broad Street line electrified.
27/06/1986	North London Railway Broad Street closed.
27/04/2010	North London Railway East London Railway to North London Railway link (East London Line) Old Kent Road Extension and Shoreditch Extension (East London Railway) The East London Line, 2.17 miles rebuilt at a cost of £1billion from Dalston Junction to New Cross, is opened by London Mayor Boris Johnson. Considered part of the London Overground.
