Wakefield MPD
Stanier 2-6-0 no 42963, with coupling rods etc removed, stands in the sidings at the south end of 56A Wakefield shed in the latter part of 1966 on its way from Springs Branch, Wigan, to Drapers scrapyard, Hull, where it was cut up in January of 1967. Both the shed and the power station in the background have since been demolished. [With thanks to David Pesterfield.]
